We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual eager to gain hands-on experience in agricultural operations, warehouse management, and agronomy logistics. In this fast-paced, team-oriented role, you’ll support the movement of crop protection products, seed, and fertilizer while learning the day-to-day operations that keep an agricultural retail business running smoothly. From inventory management and customer order preparation to facility operations and seasonal logistics, you’ll gain valuable real-world experience while working alongside industry professionals. With ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities to develop practical skills across multiple areas of the business, this position is an excellent stepping stone for anyone interested in building a future in agriculture.

Responsibilities

  • Ship and receive crop protection products, seed, and liquid fertilizer.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and perform regular cycle counts.
  • Support daily warehouse operations, including organization, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Assist with operational logistics, including preparing products and materials for customer orders and seasonal deliveries.
  • Organize products for the application fleet, sprayers, seed tenders, and seasonal deliveries.
  • Complete receiving, shipping, inventory, and customer documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support customer service activities in a professional and approachable manner.
  • Assist with equipment preparation, warehouse organization, and facility readiness during peak seasons.
  • Support inventory management, product movement, and warehouse efficiencies.
  • Participate in training opportunities to gain hands-on experience in agronomy operations, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Assist with facility projects and operational initiatives as required.
  • Support other areas of the facility and team as needed throughout the season.

Qualifications 

  • Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
  • Interest in agriculture, agronomy, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work extended hours during peak seasonal periods.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 25 kg.
  • Forklift experience or willingness to be trained (on-site training provided).
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Job Details 

  • Employment Type: Seasonal, Full-Time
  • Work Location: In Person, Orangeville Location.
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; with extended hours during peak seasons
  • Wage: $19-$21/hr
  • Vacancy Status: Future (Mid April 2027 – Sept 3 2027 )
