Full Time Plant & Warehouse Operator
We’re looking for a hands‑on, reliable team member to support daily fertilizer blending, packaging, inventory handling, and overall warehouse operations in a fast‑paced, seasonal agricultural environment. This role offers plenty of variety, with duties that can change day‑to‑day based on seasonal demand, production schedules, and team needs. What You’ll Do:
- Material Handling & Production
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Package fertilizer products efficiently while following established procedures.
- Ensure finished products are properly labeled, presentable, and meet quality standards.
- Minimize product loss, damage, and unnecessary handling.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Work safely around equipment, materials, and vehicles.
- Inventory & Documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.
- Complete and submit required paperwork in a timely and organized manner.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Equipment & Facility Care
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain related records.
- Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean, organized, and professional in appearance
- Customer Service & Teamwork
- Support a positive customer experience through friendly, professional interactions.
- Fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and support other warehouse or plant operations as needed
Experience & Qualifications
- Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform physical work in a warehouse environment. Ability to lift up to 25kg.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Interest or background in agriculture.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, plant, or equipment experience.
- Millwright and equipment maintenance experience is considered and asset.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or inventory systems
Training will be provided. We welcome applicants with a strong work ethic and an interest in agriculture, even if they do not meet every qualification listed.
